Best OSX/iOS clipboard manager so far

Best OSX/iOS clipboard manager so far! Would be nice if there were Windows clients as well.

Amazing

Best clipboard manager and copy&paste tool out there!! Thanks Kevin Chang

Absolutely a MUST-HAVE!

Copied. I simpy don’t want to miss it anymore! It’s what i always expected to be around in the times of synced devices et al. Developer seems very responsive to keep it going and faces bugs to iron them out quickly if they appear. Thanks a bunch for doing it!

great app

Great app. My ONLY complaint is that screenshots are not (yet ?) saved.

Essential.

After playing around with various features for about ten minutes, this became a must-have on all my devices, replacing two other applications. The previous icon was so much better, though. This trend towards primary white icons lacks flavour.

This application is a thing of beauty.

For the longest time, I wished there were a quick and easy way to transfer text snippets and images back and forth between my Macs and iOS devices. With Copied syning though iCloud, gone are the days of emailing or texting myself, just to send an address or a paragraph of text that needs editing. Yes, you can use Evernote for this too but their application is larger than this simple task, and it feels cumbersome when sharing my clipboard is all I want to do. Copied has become an indispensable tool. It’s a wonderful app.

Amazing

The ability to get copied text across all your Mac and iOS devices is priceless!

The best of the CB manager lot

Ive purchased almost all clipboard managers, and this is by far the best implementation. iCloud sync is working incredibly well. The developer responded to my request almost immediately, ...saying that the feature will be available in the next update. For MaOS & iOS integration, you cant beat this combo, and has replaced other utilities I used. Many thanks to the dev..!! Get the Copied apps for both iOS and Mac OS, ... fantastic value, and as another reviewer said, ..."priceless"

Very good support

The developper answers promply to emai inquiries and updates on a regular basis

It works perfectly.

Problem is solved. Not this software problem, it was a problem of my Mac environment.

Great app

Works great with iOS and the Mac! You need this, trust me. My favorite paste manager. I can’t recommend it enough.

This is the one - don’t bother with the others (I already did)

Theres no way to put into words how much time COPIED is saving me. I use it primarily for copying bits of text on the Mac in order to get them quickly & easily into iOS. Its become a cornerstone of how I work and Im eternally grateful to the developer for all the hard work they put into COPIED. If you use it a lot check out the LISTS feature which I ignored at first but it turned out to be a hidden goldmine of usefulness. The one small request Id hope the developer could do is make it so you can rearrange your LISTS in either iOS or the Mac app. This is A+ software & after trying several Clipboard History apps (COPIED is more than just that) - Im completely happy with COPIED and I use it every single day.

Great App, a few annoyances

Copied is the best clipboard manager I have used in my 8+ years with Mac. The ability to merge clippings is pretty revolutionary for me (no longer do I need to open a text edit document to combine clipboard entries). Search and Lists are also really amazing to have, and both have saved my work on a few occasions. I only have two issues — 1) Copied looses focus when attempting to combine clippings. For example, if I copy a url from my web browser and attempt to merge it in Copied, Copied will appear normally, hide when I choose “Merge Clippings”. I then have to find the app and rearrange any other applications on my desktop so that Copied isn’t obscured (hiding is persistent; the app maintains lost focus for the duration of the “Merge Clippings” command). 2) The Paste Helper is extremely clunky and slow, (possibly because it is an Applescript command). There are many clipboard managers that are able to paste text into the active application without helper scripts, so I wonder if the dependence on Paste Helper can be removed on subsequent versions. Look forward to using this for years to come!

Great if you use multiple devices (and who doesn’t, these days?)

Update: there’s more depth here than I realized — notably, the ability to create app-specific rules so e.g. I can view my clipboard history from Scrivener, TextWrangler and Excel each in their own list, thus segregating writing, coding and accounting clips very nicely. Now that I realize how useful this is, I’d like document-specific rules too, but the app rules will do for now. You can also create named lists of stored snippets. I’ve been using a clipboard manager for 15+ years, since before I was a Mac user….on the Mac I started with Jumpcut, then transitioned to Alfred’s clipboard management for the last five years or so. Since iOS came about, I’ve tried various options - most recently Command-C. But with Copied, I’ve deleted Command-C and turned off Alfred’s clipboard management feature — all in on Copied and it’s working great! Incredibly convenient and easy to set up the hotkeys so that all my old keystroke habits with Alfred didn’t need to change at all. A nice touch, too, is that it respects dark mode. This reflects the meticulous attention to detail that characterizes the app as a whole.

Buggy.

Does not work well with other apps and poor support.

Great app. Dedicated purpose, better than similar functions in others.

Copied has superseded for me all the other apps that keep copies of the clipboard. Has a nice UI and all that, but the best thing about it is that it automatically syncs the clipboard between machines. I use to easily (much more easily than things like AirDrop) pass bits of info between an iMac and a MacBook, but it also works with a companion IOS app that does the same thing. A nice touch is that you can add short notes of your own (without going thru the clipboard), which also get shared among your devices. Also supports sharing clips with the share sheet, and lets you make minor transformatons of the text (nowhere as complete as TextSoap, but pretty useful) like changing capitalization and stripping extraneous spaces. Also, you can edit the clips in the clipboard if the content is text. Update: You can, it seems, create clips of unlimited size (at least, I haven’t found the limit). So I’ve started using it as a temporary document manager (for example, just used it to copy an app’s privacy statement and then easily read it offline).

Used to be great

I loved Copied until I upgraded to Sierra - now I can’t copy and paste in any program while Copied is running. I’m sure it’ll get fixed, but in the meantime, it’s unuseable.

Second best clipboard manager for OSX after ClipMenu

UPDATE Works like a charm with 10.12. Only problem I have after 7-10 days working Copied become unstable and stop syncing between devices. Some story for macOS/iOS. ClipMenu do not have iOS companion. So it’s defenetly better with Copied. Please add Snippets and become best clipboard manager for OSX/iOS! And yes. I can create additional list and use as snippets. But sometimes I need to store passwords and some other unreadeble information in the snippets. In ClipMenu I can assign names/tags for the snippets and in easy idetify snippets this way. I do not find anythig similar in Copied.

Finally

Copied. Done. Mr. Chang has created the ideal copy and iCloud sync solution between iOS and OSX. Where most developers struggle with facilitating streamlined iCloud sync, copied works instantly. It took mere seconds for my iPad, iPhone and Mac Mini to all be consistently on the same page, ready to go. No hassle. Copied’s navigation makes sense, right away. This is echoed in the iPad version, where the layout is customized specifically for the iPad. - iCloud sync (comes with the fair in-App purchase) - * Lists! (comes with the fair in-App purchase) - More than 10 saved entries (comes with the fair in-App purchase) - Templates for custom saving formats (or create your own) - * Batch Operation to merge entries, or for sending to lists or deleting entries - Excellent keyboard and Today Widgets - * Search! (Functionality strangely missing from most clipboard apps) - iOS 9 and 3D-Touch support * Not seen on my previous clipboard manager. Sold.

Wow… Convenient and Time Saving

No need to say much... Simple and it works! It makes sending stuff fun and it is an absolute must for productivity guru’s…
