By far the best clipboard manager for Mac and iOS

This app gives me absolutely everything I wanted from a clipboard manager. Quick way to get in and out from menu, pastes it right away when you click, attaches itself to the tool bar for easy spacial recognition when you need to get in and out. The iCloud sync is the best, you copy something on your Mac and seconds later I can paste it on my phone. And there’s even this awesome custom keyboard on iOS that is the fastest way to get your clippings. Simply awesome.

One of the essentials

Every now and then I find an app that makes life easier. This is one. I’ve been using clipboard managers for years, but not any I find this useful. What makes this one different is the ability to sync with my other devices. I have this app on my Mac and also have the iOS version on my phone and iPad. Syncing through icloud is instantaneous. The preference pane offers some options which I’ve tweaked to my liking, but there’s always room for improvement. So, when I feel there have been sufficient improvement, I’ll add the 5th star.

Very good, one bug, one feature

Overall, very good. This has saved me a lot of time. I noticed that when I have “Auto-save to selected list” unchecked, copies still go to the selected list instead of to “Copied”. That seems like the opposite of what it’s supposed to do, and might be a bug. Also, it would be nice to be able to sort the lists.

Needs refining

Would like to see an interface option for a menu that appears under the cursor rather than a window that always appears at a fixed position. A more condensd interface would be nice!

Really useful app, great developer

I have used a few apps over the years to extend and manage the built-in clipboard and must say that this little app is off to a great start. Chockful of features, and a developer that listens to his customers and pushes out bug fixes, feature requests and app enhancements. I’d love to see video tutorials on getting the most out of the app. I highly recommend Copied!

Copied is a great app across all my devices

I love this app works across all my devices using iCloud sync, very useful. Allows 1,000 clippings, shortcuts, automaticly removes duplicates, you can actually set rules and hut keys.

Finally found a Jumpcut/Flycut replacement!

I bought this app maybe a month ago and I was really unimpressed. Im a longtime Jumpcut/Flycut user that has been looking for a well-maintained replacement for too darn long and Copied was missing some basic interaction details that made it really annoying to use for me. I cant remember exactly what I hated about it, I think it had something to do with not auto-selecting the latest copied item, and I think it didnt play nice with Monosnap. Im not sure. Anyway, I just updated to this latest version and gave it another try - Much much much better! I can now use it the same way jumpcut works - which to me is the most efficient way to use a clipboard manager. So if you like Jumpcut, with a couple of checkboxes in the settings panel, this app can work exactly like it, but with a ton of modern features.

Great if you use multiple devices (and who doesn’t, these days?)

I’ve been a clipboard manager for 15+ years, since before I was a Mac user….on the Mac I started with Jumpcut, then transitioned to Alfred’s clipboard management for the last five years or so. Since iOS came about, I’ve tried various options - most recently Command-C. But with Copied, I’ve deleted Command-C and turned off Alfred’s clipboard management feature — all in on Copied and it’s working great! Incrediby convenient and easy to set up the hotkeys so that all my old keystroke habits with Alfred didn’t need to change at all. A nice touch, too, is that it respects dark mode. This reflects the meticulous attention to detail that characterizes the app as a whole.

Indespensible program!

I am software developer and spend a lot of my time behind my computer. This program is awesome. Happily paid for it. It works exactly as advertised; records and sorts your clipboard history and offers a selection of fast ways to quickly retrieve items. It’s more useful than just a clipboard history since you can in effect copy multiple items at once now. The product has more features than I know what to do with and frequently has updates. Well, well worth it. Great work whoever the developer is!

“New menubar icon when plain text is enabled"

YAAAAZZZZZ!! Five stars, now, for sure.

In a crowded field this app shines

There are a number of apps of this genre, I have tried or used many of them. One I still use in addition to this one, but less and less. Good attention to detail, convenient use of the menu bar and easily customizable. With both the Mac and iOS apps, using sync makes it very functional. If the developer keeps fixing the minor glitches/bugs it will be all to the good.

Excellent, But Sometimes Frustrating

This is a powerful and much-needed application, and many users have voiced their appreciation. Unfortunately, its implementation is so far frustratingly unintuitive. I have several times had to ask the developer how to access certain advertised functions. The means are there, but they are often not evident, nor has the developer yet provided public instructions on these points. At least I have it working with functions that I personally need.

Amazing When Used, Though Not Often

For me, Copied sits in the shadows, taking note of everything that I copy to my clipboard. Attending univsersity, I don’t find myself using Copied very often for work. That being said, when that one random thing pops up and you need to grab something that you copied 2 days ago, this app is simply amazing. Although uses are few and far between, Copied saves me a lot of time.

two problems

I can not find a way to title clips and this is useful for creating a list of program serial numbers so you know what program the serial number goes to. I have Also discover that a clip copied into a list of its own appears in the default copied list and if it gets deleted from the copied list it is also deleted from the other list and in doing so defeats the purpose of creating another list in the first place. I find the iCloud sync and the iPhone app the only useful thing about the program so I will have to back to just using iClipboard for storing clips.

Buggy— not worth the price. — Fishy 5 Stars Reviews!

choose this over other options for the ability to sync between mac & ios devices, which makes this app unique; I truly wanted to like this app but it unfortunately is not working half of the time! - either mac & ios version have this issue and it copies whenever it desires! - this make this app UN-Reliable & useless. Hope the developers fixing this issue SOON. Also reviews are so fishy, Except 2-3 reviews, All 200 reviews on ios and 100 reviews in here, which are mostly few words reviews are 5 STARS all compliment and no criticize at all! its SO INTERESTING that NO ONE in the review section mentioned this issues! If you are asking me its SO FISHY!!!

Nothing fishy about the 5 Star reviews.

The dev is constantly updating this app and making huge leaps foward everytime. I have absolutely no idea what some people are complaining about. Serial numbers? Titiling the clips? The thing automatically posts multi lined text in plain style to any app on drag and drop. Clutch. Also I use the track pad as little as possible when working. They have their shortcuts down to a science. I find something new browsing the preferences every single time. it automatically lays out hotkeys for posting clips into the app you were just in! I’ve posted lists of nonsense never having touched my trackpad. Good for data nuts.

Take your MacBook clipboard items with you on your pad or iPhone.

Clipboard History utilities have different functions for different people. I use COPIED to snag notes and pics while studying on my MacBook. In class, I just slide COPIED out when I need my clipped notes. Arranging those notes and pics in catagories is super helpful, too. If the Mac OSX app included a ‘web clipper’ or could do a capture of a selected part of the screen, I would find a way to rate it SIX stars.

Copied’s usefulness is truly unlimited.

I purchased Copied the week it was released after reading about it Appadvice and upgraded the same day to get the iCloud syncing feature. I installed it on my: Macbook Pro Mac Mini iPhone 6+ iPad Air It was a nearly perfect app. Every few times I dug through the settings, I would find some other useful feature, something else would “click”, and the app got even that much more useful. For example, the Copied keyboard extension on iOS is incredible. Over the next few weeks, the developer released gradual updates which improved the app even more. However, I suddenly started having issues with the app crashing and being extremely sluggish. I corresponded with the developer back and forth, and he provided me with updated beta versions of the app in an attempt to figure out the issue. It turned out to be a piece of bad data in one of my clippings. Once that was taken care of, the app was back to perfect. It’s been amazingly reliable ever since. I’ve used CloudClip (app), Command-C (app), Pastebin (website), Wepaste (website), cl1p.net (website) just to name a few. None of them even came close to delivering the seamless experience of Copied. I have it next to the dock on my two 27” Thunderbolt displays. It’s always “on top” and always visible on screen. It’s use to me is truly unlimited.

Great app. Dedicated purpose, better than similar functions in others.

Copied has superseded for me all the other apps that keep copies of the clipboard. Has a nice UI and all that, but the best thing about it is that it automatically syncs the clipboard between machines. I use to easily (much more easily than things like AirDrop) pass bits of info between an iMac and a MacBook, but it also works with a companion IOS app that does the same thing. A nice touch is that you can add short notes of your own (without going thru the clipboard), which also get shared among your devices. Also supports sharing clips with the share sheet, and lets you make minor transformatons of the text (nowhere as complete as TextSoap, but pretty useful) like changing capitalization and stripping extraneous spaces. Also, you can edit the clips in the clipboard if the content is text.
