Copied App Reviews

Exactly what I have been looking for!

I love it. No more emailing or messaging text or links to myself to get it onto another Apple device. It works great with lots of extra features. Get the iOS version and the MacOS version and simplify sharing simple text between your devices. Well worth the small cost.

A must have.

This app is a must have if you like to be effcient and you do lots of copying/pasting throughout the day. I could see Apple buying this app and/or incorporatiing it into a future version of OSX becuase it’s that good. Very well done.

Just what I was looking for!

I found myself increasingly needing clippings form my MacBook to make it’s way to my iPhone (or vice versa), but the tediousness of sending it via email or iMessage was too cumbersome. This saves me a lot of time and enables seamless information carryover between devices. Thanx for a really useful app!

Brilliant — Amazing When Paired with Copied for iOS

Copied is fantastic as a stand-alone clipboard manager. It is fast, intuitive, and easy to use, but that’s not why I’m writing this reivew. What has made this one of my favorite apps is its seamless syncing with Copied for iOS. Now I can be reading a web page or a PDF on my iPad, find something that I need to use for later, and Copied syncs it to my Mac, where I can work with the text or image without missing a beat. It also works the other way around. This is the clipboard manager I’ve always wanted and didn’t know I needed. If you have an iPad or iPhone and ever need (or want) to be able to shift working from one environment to the other, Copied is a great solution. For me, Copied has become absolutely indispensable.

A pretty useful utility - would like ability to rename the links

I don’t have anything to add here. The utility works as described and is very useful. I would ask for one improvement to be able to rename the link itself. In some cases when I copy links that are lengthy there may not be an appropriate title assigned the link and if I want to keep it for later sharing it is useful for me to be able to label the link with whatever name I need to remind me what the link relates to.

Great app, but could use more features on OS X version

This app can really come in handy for syncing text between your phone and computer, but the OS X version still needs some work. In particular, I would love to see multitouch support for the OS X app. Swiping to delete and access other common functions would be a great productivity improvement.

hermi

its amazing app two thumps up………..

Elegant, Powerful, and Useful

I agree with other five-star reviews. Too often I have tried utility apps that just don’t stand the test of time: I stop using them because they don’t do enough to be useful or they are simply too awkward to remember how or when to use. My only complaint, which is minor and easily fixed, is the FAQs could use a little more work, and especially examples. For example, the description of the template feature was rather obscure; once this feature was understood through experimentation the real added utility over other clipboard managers really stands out. However, simply transparently synchronizing across devices provides the ultimate value.

Rapid Paste coming soon??

Holding out to get Rapid Paste feature soon? That would make this the ultimate clipboard manager in the market!

Very handy

The idea of the app is very good and simplicity. It will facilitate my work and save my time in future, I used to get a picture or a link through the note. But now, the app give me what I need directly, I hope it will still keep up the good work and improvement.

Useless

This app is pretty much useless. I bought it because it seemed useful from the screenshots and it was on sale, but here I am a week later, and I’m not even using it. The few times I tried, I found the interface too clunky and complicated. For some reason, I don’t get the pane attached to the icon, it just shows and hides a free floating window, which is annyoing. Waste of money.

Very good clipboard utility

Those who are wondering how to copy from iOS to OS X, here is the detailed instruction - With clipboard sync enabled on both devices copying from iOS to OS X should work like this: 1. Copy content from app on iOS. 2. Open notification center. If you have "Auto-save when active" enabled it should automatically save and sync to iCloud. 3. Receive clipboard synced notification on your Mac. "Clipboard Sync" must be enabled on both devices. 4. Just press command-v to paste. Copying from OS X to iOS should work like this: 1. Copy content from app on OS X. 2. Receive clipboard synced notification on iOS. 3. Paste into iOS app. If it is not working as expected and the "Clipboard Sync" option is enabled, try tapping the resynchronize button on both devices. If it still isnt syncing let me know if it works the other way around (OS X to iOS). If it does, can you try disabling iCloud sync in Copied on OS X (select keep data on iCloud) and then reenable it again.

Very happy with this app

So far I cannot see any problem. I defenitely worth the money if you buy both OS X and iOS versions. Syncing with iCloud is fast and smooth. I still using CopyLess in parallel since I like how it works on OS X but may be Copied will replace it completely when it will get more features.

Love it for sycing between work and home

I love sycning my copied info from work, home (2 machines), iPad, and iOS. Having your clipboard have a history that syncs between all iCloud devices is great! Great idea, and excellent execution. I recommend this app to everyone now. Get it.

Excellent App

This is a must uility , for me that every day have to copy a lot of text , links and images.

Great tool. Missing one important feature for my use case ...

This really is a terrific app from my experience. The latest updates are a great addition as well … the developer is taking this in the right direction as proven by the latest features that have been added. The only thing I miss from this app is the ability to edit the title of the clipping. If you are clipping several things from one site, especially items on a Wiki, for example, the item titles are often unfriendly to say the least. I realize the app can’t predict more useful names for the clippings, but I would at least like the ability to edit the name the same way we can the content. And I would recommend adding Edit to the context menu from the main clipping lists as opposed to burying that option under the preview pane. Still, a great job. Very useful even without that one important feature (to me, anyway). Thanks Kevin!

Great and useful utility app

Very stable, nice looking, works great. Fantastic way to keep your iOS and desktop/laptop Mac in sync. By far the best clipboard utility. Makes your life easier, and I’ve found I use this many times daily. Great work!

Very handy - would like to see a couple more options...

Great app! Works seamlessly when paired with the iOS app. I like the fact that you can copy images and show they up in the copied list and that you can have custom lists to organize clippings. It would be great if it had a few more options: -Ability to edit link titles (not just the link itself). -Ability to clear the copied list (not just the clipboard). Maybe an option to clear it on shutdown -Ability to copy other files types (e.g. PDF)

Great update

The latest update has added some great improvements for my workflow!

Simple and powerful

At its most basic, this app is great for two use cases: 1. a clipbboard manager for OSX or iOS 2. a shared clipboard between the two. But in reality it can do much more - from customizing display of links to creating rules from different sources. It’s quickly becoming one of my most frequently used tools.
